Adele Scheele, PhD, is a career strategist, career coach, speaker, and author on the subject. An innovative career coach, she is the author of "Skills for Success." She has been reviewed by Robert Ginn at Harvard University as writing "The most important book in career development". ==Early life and career== Scheele was born in Philadelphia and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania. She subsequently earned her Masters Degree on an English Fellowship from California State University, Northridge, and her PhD with Honors from UCLA in 1976 on a Change Management Fellowship. Scheele began her career teaching English to college and high school students. She went on to research and negotiate labor contracts for the AFL-CIO. From 1970 to 1976 she served as Vice President of Social Engineering Technology (SET) and managed the yearlong project, Alternative Pursuits For America's Third Century. In 1977, she created a career coaching practice for individuals, associations, organizations, and universities.
